Former NHL legends face off against the Law Enforcement All Stars in support

of Help A Child Smile

The NHL Alumni hockey game is scheduled to take place at the Dave Andreychuck Arena Sunday Feb 16th @ 2 PM. Former NHL stars will lace up their skates alongside law enforcement professionals, forming two formidable teams that will battle it out on the ice for a cause that goes beyond the scoreboard.

 

The event will feature a roster of legendary NHL Alumni, each with a storied career and a lasting impact on the sport. Fans can expect a fast-paced, entertaining game that will not only highlight the skill of these seasoned athletes but including your local law enforcements brilliant play to make for a memorable experience for all ages. Local businesses and sponsors have generously contributed to the event, helping to ensure its success and maximize the fundraising efforts.

 

The NHL Alumni Benefit game is proud to support Help A Child Smile, a volunteer-run charity

dedicated to bringing joy into the lives of children who are being treated or have been

treated for cancer at Hamilton’s McMaster Children’s Hospital. Their membership now

exceeds 1500 families. They provide welcome packages which include parking passes, gas

cards, meal vouchers and many more in-hospital supports. And because the diagnosis of

childhood cancer affects the entire family, they organize and fund day trips the whole family

can enjoy together. Some of the favourites are Wonderland, African Lion Safari, Disney on

Ice, Bingemans Big Splash, Niagara Go-Karting and Mini-Putt, a Fishing Derby, Safari

Niagara, SkyZone Trampoline Park, a family picnic, and a Christmas party.
